TAS Chapel Hire
The TAS Chapel, designed by Sydney architect Cyril Blacket, has been a special place for students past and present, across the generations.
Dedicated by the Rt Rev Henry E Cooper, Bishop of Grafton and Armidale in February 1903, the window features several memorial stained glass windows and a pipe organ.
TAS acquired a second chapel in 2008, when St John’s Church Kelly’s Plains was gifted to the school by the Perrott family. Built in 1923, the brick church replaced an earlier weatherboard structure constructed in 1896 and consecrated a year later.
Former students, or those with a direct affiliation to the School, are welcome to make inquiry to hire the TAS Chapel for weddings, funerals or other special services. Members of the wider community may also hire the Perott Chapel, St John’s Kellys Plains.
Hire fees for the TAS Chapel are set out below:
Application Fee: $22.00
Hire Fee: $220.00
In the first instance we ask that the application form below is completed and we will be in contact to discuss your inquiry in more detail. This process will be followed by formal approval in writing to the applicant. Please note that approvals will be made in consultation with the School Chaplain.
